Create your first project
Write in one sentence what you want to build and start the conversation with your team.
Creating a project is as simple as writing one sentence.
Step by step
On Home you'll see the question «What do you want to build?». You can also get there with the New project button in the sidebar.
Write your idea in your own words. For example: "An app to take orders for my bakery."
If you don't know where to start, tap one of the suggested ideas, like «Orders for my bakery», «Bookings for my practice» or «Inventory for my shop».
Send the sentence. Your project is created with that name and Discovery opens: the conversation with your team.
What you see in a project
Each project has four tabs:
Discovery: the conversation with your team. Read The conversation with the architect.
Plans: your app's complete plan, for you to review and approve. Read The plans.
Team tasks: what the team is doing, task by task. Read Building.
Preview: the mockup or the app, to look at. Read The mockup.
At the top you'll see the project's stage and a panel with «Right now» (what's happening) and «Your next step» (what's up to you). If you ever don't know what's next, look at that panel.
Project stages
Discovery → Plans in review → Plans approved → Being built → Published. A project can also be Paused. The full journey is in How a project works.
