Connections with other systems (API and MCP)

Coming soon

How your app and your team will be able to connect with other tools you already use.

Many apps need to talk to other tools: your payment system, your calendar, your online store or your customer spreadsheet. Connections make that possible.

What they are, in plain words

  • An API is a door a system leaves open so other programs can ask it for information or send it information in an orderly way. For example, the one from your payment gateway.

  • MCP is a standard format that lets artificial intelligence assistants connect safely with outside tools. Many tools already offer their own MCP connector.

You don't need to know how they work inside: you choose what to connect and your team does the rest.

How it will work

  • Connector directory: a list of well-known tools with a Connect button, just like on other platforms you already know.

  • Add a connector by its address: if your tool has an MCP connector that isn't on the list.

  • Connect an API: for your own or less-known systems.

  • Alerts between systems: another system lets your app know when something happens (for example, a payment received), and the other way around.

Your security rules

  • By default, your team can only read from your systems, not change them.

  • To write to one of your systems (create, change or delete something), the team asks for your approval for each action.

  • In the meantime, testing is done with test data, never with your customers' real data.

For you too: the DesarrollAndo API and MCP

Later on you'll be able to connect your own artificial intelligence tools to DesarrollAndo to check the status of your projects and leave comments. For safety, from there it will never be possible to approve, publish, delete or spend.
