The conversation with the solutions architect
A chat where you describe your idea in your own words and your team asks you one thing at a time until they understand what you need.
A project starts with a conversation, not a form. In the Discovery tab you talk with your team; the one leading the conversation is the solutions architect, the team member who specializes in understanding needs and turning them into a plan. On screen you'll see them as «Your team».
How to talk with them
Write in your own words. There are no right answers or terms you need to know.
They ask you one thing at a time, based on what you already said. They don't repeat what you told them or make you fill in lists.
If they offer you quick suggestions, they're there to help. You can always answer freely.
While they think, you'll see «Your team is typing…».
«Here's what we understood»
From time to time, your team sums up what they understood. Read it calmly:
If it's right, confirm it.
If something isn't right, correct it in the same chat, in your own words.
These summaries feed into the plans, so it's worth getting them right.
Similar apps
During the conversation your team may show you «Apps we looked at for you»: examples of similar projects to inspire you and to say what you like and what you don't.
How long does it take?
It depends on your idea. Behind the scenes, the team follows a compass with everything it needs to understand (goals, who uses it, the steps, the look, the data…). When it has enough, it prepares the mockup and the plans.
